With our modern busy lifestyle, we often neglect to notice the beauty in nature. Every year when Spring has arrived, new buds on the tree begin to germinate. God has provided us another chance to start all over again.

I hadn’t noticed the beauty of nature for a long time because I was busy with my training and competition schedules in the shooting sport, but lately, I notice them. One night when I went to do laundry, where I would have to walk outside the house to get to the laundry room, I noticed the bright lights from the crescent moon shinning over the silhouette of the tall oak trees. There were twinkling stars and the light swivel of clouds against the darken blue sky. I breathed in the fresh cool air of the night. I am grateful that God has provided us all the naturally beautiful surroundings.

I will always remember the night that I drove from a practice trip back to my hotel, I saw that baby blue sky with the peach colored clouds, like what Michelangelo painted onto the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel. I thought he had stylized the picture. I didn’t know that they really exist.
