One reason is that you never know when you may injure yourself and end up in bed for an extended amount of time recuperating. A strong body before an injury puts you ahead in the recovery lane. Also, keeping your body strong is part of a healthy lifestyle that is sure to benefit your future self by keeping you young. Like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.britannica.com\/biography\/Jack-LaLanne\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Jack LaLanne<\/a>, &#8220;The Godfather of Fitness,&#8221; Vera Koo is the epitome of someone who never appears to age. Vera shares what she has done in these three posts to keep her body strong well into her 78th year.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-maintaining-a-strong-body\"><strong>Maintaining a Strong Body<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In her article &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.womensoutdoornews.com\/2016\/04\/vera-koo-must-exercise-want-shoot\/\">Why You Must Exercise if You Want to Shoot<\/a>,&#8221; Vera begins by comparing our bodies to vehicles. [&#8230;] We must keep our bodies fueled with proper nutrition and maintained by steady exercise.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Some of the tips Vera offers in this article are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Make exercise a routine.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Work with a trainer to ensure you train correctly when you begin your exercise regime.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Give your body time to recover from workouts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Balance your exercise program.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Whether it&#8217;s meat, vegetables or some other base, find the type of foods that work best for your body.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Avoid processed foods whenever possible.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Vera&#8217;s article &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.womensoutdoornews.com\/2020\/09\/vera-koo-when-your-friend-wont-listen-to-good-advice\/\">When Your Friend Won&#8217;t Listen to Good Advice<\/a>&#8221; was inspired by a friend who suffered an ankle injury and wanted to help.
