Meet Vera Koo, the world’s best shooter in the women’s league. Through dedication and hard work, Vera became one of the top woman shooters in the world. Taking home the Bianchi cup for six years in a row. When Vera has trouble in her personal life, she turns to her shooting, finding healing and growth. She pushes herself not to win but to shoot her best. Having to deal with bullying in the range and men degrading her for entering their territory, Vera still moved forward and earned her titles through perseverance and growth. Coming from a traditional Chinese family, she raised her children, ran her home, and still achieved fame in this sport.

Positively, Vera is a strong woman. With everything she endured, she still stayed humble. She is an inspiration for many people, and I, for one, am thankful she chose to share her story with the world. Every time something went wrong in her personal life, she would be even more dedicated to her sport resulting in her becoming one of the top woman shooters in the world. She never complained and never showed what she was going through to the outside world. She is one brave woman.

Love and Forgiveness

The Most Unlikely Champion by Vera Koo is an inspirational book. It speaks of perseverance and dedication. It brings love and forgiveness. I am not very fond of non-fiction books, but I am glad I took the time to read this book. Vera Koo is one of the most humble people I have ever met in the pages of a book or real life. With no grammatical or spelling errors, I would be glad to rate this book 4 out of 4. I do not feel that the comments in the negative section warrant a deduction of a star.

I would recommend this book to people who need hope and inspiration. If you feel life is getting too much and do not know how to handle it, you must read this book. With the sexual content extended to kisses only and no profanity, this book is suitable for teens and upward.
